Summer in Miami is its own fashion week. Swim season just crowned the city once again as the resort-wear capital of America, and the momentum doesn’t stop: Miami Fashion Week returns October 13–17, with applications already open for designers, media, and partners. If you’re a designer reading this — aplícate. Miami runways have become a launchpad the whole industry watches, recognized on the same calendar as New York, Paris, and Milan.
And the city’s fashion education scene is exploding: Miami’s fashion institute enrollment keeps climbing year after year. Translation: la próxima generación is being trained right here, not in New York. Remember that.
