At the inaugural Virtual Fashion Awards of Miami Fashion Week 2026, House of Yas received the award for Best Brand Narrative.
The recognition names something the house has practiced since 2010: that a collection is an argument, and a garment is a sentence in it. The jury cited the house’s sustained storytelling — Cuban heritage carried into couture, collections built around memory, exile, faith, and the women who wear them forward.
For a Cuban-American house born in a Miami warehouse atelier, the award lands close to the founding conviction: fashion carries the stories a people cannot afford to forget. It joins a year in which the house dressed Miss Universe 2024 for the Keys to Miami and was named a Rising Star by British Vogue.
The narrative continues — on the runway at Miami Fashion Week this October, and at Art Basel Miami in December.
